Dr. Romesh Dias Bandaranaike has a B.Sc. in Physics
(First Class) from the University of Colombo and a M.Sc.
in Physics, a M.A. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics,
all from the University of Maryland, USA.
Currenly, Dr. Romesh Dias Bandaranaike is also the Chief
Executive Officer of Eco Power, a privately held Sri
Lankan company who designs, constructs, owns and operates
small hydro power (SHP) plants. Dr. Bandaranaike has
a wide and varied experience over 30 years in senior
positions in both private companies (including in the
USA) and in the Sri Lankan government. He has also been
an international economic and financial consultant for
a range of organisations, including the World Bank,
the Asian Development Bank, USAID, UNDP and others.
Mr. A. Rohan Manamudali
Director
Mr. A. Rohan Manamudali holds a Bachelors Degree in
Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
and has gained several professional qualifications from
several recognized educational institutions. Managing
Technical Professionals & Organizations under Executive
Certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology,
USA (MIT Sloan Mangement). System Development Methodologies
and Tools from IIMA University of Ahamedabad, India.
Software Project Management from CBI with EDB &
Sri Lanka Software Exporters Association. Phonetics
and Phonology from University Of Colombo School Of Computing/National
University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES)
of Pakistan. He is a certified localization professional
(CLP) of The Institute Of Localisation Professionals
Of Ireland.
Mr. Manamudali is a co-founder of the company and he
has been with the company since its inception more than
15 years ago. Mr. Manamudali has a wide and varied experience
over 20 years in information technology and over 10
years in finance & management in senior positions.
His significant experince in project mangement, architecture,
product development and enterprise software development
includes higlighted experience in Financial Management
& Reporting Systems for ADB & World bank funded
projects, Treasury Operations & Treasury Single
Accounts System for Government Treasury, Revenue &
Finance Management Software Systems for Local Government
Authorities, SOA related systems (transliteration e-service
on ICTA-LankaGate enterprise architecture) , R&D
& localization projects (including localization
of Windows Vista and Office 2007 for Microsoft Corporation/ICTA).
He was a principal co-developer of the first trilingual
(Sinhala/Tamil/English) Software System in Sri Lanka
called “THIBUS” for DOS (in 1989) & for MS Windows
(in 1994) and which was included a word processor, keyboard
drivers, Sinhala/Tamil spell checker, Sinhala /Tamil
collation engine, Sinhala/Tamil printer drivers &
fonts and also the co-developer/architeture of first
Sri Lankan Sinhala/ English/Tamil software dictionary
called “THIBUS WORD TRANSLATOR” in 2000 & in 2002.
Mr. Manamudali was a Member of working group of SLSI
(Sri Lanka Standards Institution) test method for SLS
1134 certification - 2006 (Sri Lanka standard - Sinhala
Character Code for Information Interchange) and Steering
Committee member of implementation of treasury single
accounts system of Government of Treasuty
